Private Wedding Cake Workshop
If you have some foundational skills, but want to up-level your cake to wedding standard, this class is for you.
Class runs from 10am – 5.00pm
In this private cake course, you will learn:
- How to bake a vanilla sponge for tiered cakes
- How to arrange fresh flowers on a cake to make them safe and elegant.
- How to make Meringue Buttercream
- Learn how to decorate your cakes with a rustic buttercream finish and fresh flowers.
- Learn how to dowel a two-tiered cake and arrange this on a board for that perfect professional look
- You will work with gold leaf and learn how to achieve a distressed effect.
All ingredients and equipment, including transport boxes, for your cake course are provided. All the recipes will be provided, including a list of equipment that has been used and where you can purchase these. You do not need to bring anything with you other than a notepad and pen, and maybe a packed lunch.
