Frequently Asked Questions

How Far in Advance Should I Place My Order?

We can book up months in advance during wedding season. To be safe, get in touch with us as soon as you know the date of your wedding - that way you’re much more likely to secure your wedding date.

How Do I Place an Order?

Please email us or fill out our  contact form . We will contact you with a quote or to set up a design appointment. In your email, please let us know the date of the event, how many people the cake will serve and as many details as possible about the cake you’re ordering for your special occasion.

How Much Are Your Cakes?

Our custom-made cakes are priced individually, and final prices will depend on the labour and artistry involved. You can find starting prices here, but please get in touch to discuss how we can accommodate your dream into your budget. 

How Do I Pay For My Cake and Secure My Date?

All orders require a £100 non-refundable booking fee at the time of the order to hold the date, with the balance due two (2) months prior to delivery. Cake orders placed with less than two months notice require payment in full at the time of ordering. 

Can I Schedule a Tasting Appointment?

You can book a free Discovery Call with us, which lasts 15 minutes and should answer a lot of your pressing questions. You can also book a taster box to be sent first class in the mail to you, as we are not doing face-to-face tastings at this time. After we chat on the phone about your special event, we’ll invite you in for a design consultation via Zoom to chat in detail about all things Wedding Cake. There is a non-refundable charge of £50 for this Extended Consultation, that will be detracted from your final cake balance.

Can I Visit Your Studio?

Due to the current situation, we are not available to host consultations in person. We are still attending Wedding Fayres, and are happy to meet over Zoom or at your venue. You can find more details about our Wedding Fayres and open days by subscribing to our newsletter.

Do You Deliver?

We deliver all our wedding cakes. Our standard delivery range is roughly within one hour of Chichester, West Sussex. Longer deliveries are determined on a case by case basis, and delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled.

Do You Ship/Mail Cakes?

All of our cakes are either picked up by the client or hand-delivered by the studio. Too much time and effort goes into creating our detailed cakes, and we like to make sure that they arrive in perfect condition. We do, however, offer Taster Boxes for £25 to be posted first class to your door, so you can partake in the Cakes in Bloom experience from the comfort of your own home.

Any Policies I Should Know About?

We will email our full T&Cs once you have decided to book in with us, but here are a few important details:

• Wedding Cake orders are not confirmed until we receive your booking form and a £100 booking fee. 

• Wedding cake designs/flavour selections need to be finalised at least thirty (30) days before the event. Changes after this point cannot be guaranteed, and may result in additional costs.
